Want to help the South Florida refugee community?  Whether you have short-term availability or can make a longer commitment, you can make a difference in the lives of these families.

Here are some of our opportunities:

  •  In-home English-language tutors for adults

  •  In-home or Online Homework tutors for children

  •  Arabic language translators (online, event, or document translation)

  • Photographers

  • Social media assistants

  • Event assistance

  • Fundraising help

  • Internships

  • And more!

No prior teaching experience or knowledge of Arabic is required for tutoring. We do ask for a one-year commitment for most volunteer positions. We require a Signature Document for most volunteer positions for the safety of our families and volunteers, and, in addition, background checks for those who will work directly in family's homes. Non-local volunteers can help online. High school students are welcome, and we can give service hours for their volunteer work.

Our refugee families are very grateful for the support and assistance they receive from community members. Please help us continue to serve their needs and help them become part of our community.
